Locked, the upcoming claustrophobic thriller from director David Yarovesky (Brightburn), hits theaters on March 21, with a brand new poster giving us a good look at stars Bill Skarsgård and Anthony Hopkins in action.
Produced by horror legend Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) and written by Michael Arlen Ross, Locked is a new take on the 2019 Argentinian thriller 4 x 4, and follows:
When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive in a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, who debuted the Locked trailer exclusively earlier this year, Yarovesky talks more about working with Nosferatu and Hannibal Lecter themselves:
“Working with Bill and Anthony was a once-in-a-lifetime experience […] They are two of the greatest living actors, each having brought to life some of the most iconic villains of all time. Now, they're going head-to-head in a battle of wits — a fight to the death! Together, they are electric!
