Robert Eggers' Oscar-nominated horror Nosferatu officially hits on Peacock on February 21, with the promised extended cut also available to stream.
Never seen in theaters, the extended cut of Nosferatu features more footage of Bill Skarsgård's terrifying Count Orlok.
Starring Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Eggers' take on F.W. Murnau's 1922 original follows a young woman (Depp) who becomes the object of desire for a terrifying ancient vampire.
In our review of the Gothic horror, Jordan Hoffman called Nosferatu a ‘perfect, classic horror movie.'
Following its Christmas Day 2024 release, Nosferatu became Focus Features' second highest-grossing movie ever at the domestic box office, taking in $95.5 million in North America. The film currently stands to win Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design and Makeup and Hairstyling at the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.
The extended cut of Nosferatu is currently available to own on digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.
