Robert Eggers' hugely anticipated vampire horror Nosferatu hits theaters on Christmas Day, and Focus Features are ramping up the hype by counting down to something fun and mysterious on the official Nosferatu Instagram page.
Between December 1 and December 7 at 9PM PT/Midnight ET each day, a video will be posted to the Nosferatu page that integrates a symbol from the film. All posts will include the URL SuccumbToTheDarkness.com where ‘an exclusive reward awaits the most devoted souls, aged eighteen or older. Rewards vary by location. Heed this warning: Act quickly as there are limited rewards.'
We're told that fans must pay attention to the symbol social assets and the countdown on the site this week to see what awaits.
The R-rated Nosferatu stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Eggers' take on the F.W. Murnau expressionist classic follows a young woman (Depp) who becomes the object of desire for the terrifying vampire Count Orlok (Skarsgård).
