Outpost 512, the art gallery based in Taylor, Texas, is returning to Texas Frightmare Weekend for the second time and bringing three officially licensed Dario Argento classics from artists Matt Ryan Tobin, Robert Sammelin, and Bruno Vergauwen.
The first film in the lineup is Dario Argento’s most renowned work, Suspiria, with new art by Matt Ryan Tobin. In two colorways, this stunning piece is adorned with 8 vibrant gloss inks that bring the artwork to life.
“Suspiria is such an iconic film. Like most Argento films, it bursts with color and vibrance. I approached this art as I would, were it 1977 and I was asked to create art for a film no one had yet seen. A simple visual that is a literal peek behind the curtain of the story. Something that spawned more questions than answers. Questions like… ‘Do you know anything about witches?’”
