PRESENCE: Steven Soderbergh’s Ghost Story Gets A Haunting First Teaser

NEON will release the POV haunted house horror in January 2025.

Presence, the upcoming ghost story horror from storied filmmaker Steven Soderbergh (ContagionOcean's Eleven) and writer David Koepp (Jurassic Park, the upcoming untitled Jurassic World movie), has been acquired by NEON for a January 2025 release, with a spooky first trailer and poster below.

Starring Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday and West Mulholland, Presence premiered at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it even saw walkouts due to some of its intense scenes.

“In Presence, a family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they are not alone. A supernatural force has infiltrated the house, and taken a specific interest in the couple’s daughter.

What makes Presence even more intriguing is that the entire film is shot entirely from the point of view of the ghost taunting the family. Creepy!

With Presence, NEON look set to continue to dominate the horror game of 2025, after blowing audiences away this year with Immaculate, Longlegs and Cuckoo.

While we wait for an official release date  more updates on Presence, check out the trailer and poster below shared officially earlier today by NEON.
