Rohan Campbell To Lead SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT Remake

Cineverse's upcoming Silent Night, Deadly Night remake has found its lead, with Bloody Disgusting today reporting that Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends, The Monkey) will play Billy Chapman in the new take on the festive slasher classic.

Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, V/H/S/85) is set to direct Silent Night, Deadly Night, with Scott J. Schneid and Dennis Whitehead, executive producers of Charles Sellier Jr.'s 1984 original, producing. Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting will release the slasher into U.S. theaters this holiday season.

Sixth Dimension, Studiocanal’s new genre label, has picked up global rights for the slasher as their first acquisition for release in distribute in its own territories in the UK & Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Benelux and Poland.

The original Silent Night, Deadly Night tells the story of young Billy Chapman, who is traumatized after seeing his parents killed by a man dressed as Santa Claus. Ten years later, a psychotic Billy dons a Santa suit himself and gets bloody revenge.

Per Bloody, Terrifier 3‘s Brandon Hill and Brad Miska will oversee Silent Night, Deadly Night for Cineverse and will executive produce alongside Erick Opeka and Yolanda Macias, Bondit Media Capital’s Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor.

Campbell is most known among horror fans for his turn as Corey Cunningham in David Gordon Green’s 2022 trilogy-capper Halloween Ends.
