FANGORIA SWEEPSTAKES – MASTER OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED.
These Master Official Rules (“Master Rules”) govern sweepstakes (each, a “Promotion”) conducted by Fangoria Publishing, LLC (“Sponsor,” “Fangoria”). Each Promotion will include a Promotion Schedule (the “Schedule”) that sets campaign-specific details. The Schedule and these Master Rules together are the “Official Rules.” If there is a conflict, the Schedule controls for its listed items (e.g., dates, eligibility territory/age, prize/ARV, entry limit, selection/notification method). All times are in the time zone stated in the Schedule.
1. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the United States/DC who meet the minimum age stated in the Schedule (default: 18+; 19+ in AL/NE; 21+ in MS) as of date of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize providers, and advertising/promotion agencies, and their immediate family/household members, are not eligible. Employees of Meta, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited and where registration/bonding or other requirements would apply that Sponsor does not intend to satisfy (including, without limitation, FL/NY registration if total prize ARV ≥ $5,000 and Rhode Island retail promotions if prize ARV > $500).
2. Agreement to Rules
By participating, you (“you” or “entrant”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins and ends on the dates/times stated in the Schedule (the “Promotion Period”). Entries must be received during the Promotion Period.
4. How to Enter; Entry Limits; AMOE
Primary Method: Follow the entry instructions stated in the Schedule (e.g., complete the form at the Campaign URL, click unique email link, etc.).
Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”) by Mail (if permitted in Schedule): Hand-print your full name, mailing address, email, phone, the Promotion name, and the statement “AMOE” on a 3″×5″ card and mail in a #10 envelope to: Fangoria Sweepstakes AMOE, 2566 Shallowford Road, Suite 104-180, Atlanta, GA 30345. Must be postmarked by and received by the dates in the Schedule. Each valid AMOE counts as one entry.
Entry Limits: As stated in the Schedule (default: one (1) entry per person per day, regardless of method). Automated, bulk, or fraudulent entries are prohibited and void. Sponsor may disqualify incomplete, ineligible, or non-compliant entries.
5. Content Restrictions (if user content is required)
If the Schedule requires you to submit content (e.g., photo, text, video), your submission must be your original work and must not infringe, be unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise violate third-party rights/platform terms. Sponsor may disqualify non-compliant content in its sole discretion.
6. Prizes; ARV; Taxes
Prizes, quantities, and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) are stated in the Schedule. No cash or other substitution, except Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable. All taxes and expenses not expressly stated are the winner’s responsibility. If required by law (e.g., for prizes valued at $600+), winner must provide a completed Form W-9 and Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099.
7. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Selection; Verification; Notification
Selection method, date, and notifier appear in the Schedule (e.g., random drawing). Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance. Sponsor may require completion, notarization, and timely return of Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release (where lawful), and IRS forms within the timeframe stated in the Schedule (default: respond to notification within 3 days; return forms within 5 business days). If a potential winner is ineligible, fails to respond or complete documents on time, declines the prize, or is otherwise disqualified, Sponsor may select an alternate. Sponsor is not responsible for spam filters, incorrect contact info, or delivery issues.
9. Publicity
Where permitted by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner’s name, city/state, likeness, voice, statements, and prize information for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation or notice.
10. License to Submissions (only if content is required)
If the Promotion requires content submission, you grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your submission for Promotional purposes related to the Promotion and Sponsor’s brands. You represent you have all rights necessary and will defend/indemnify Sponsor against third-party claims arising from your content.
11. General Conditions; Conduct; Tampering
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or operation, violates these Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If the Promotion is canceled before the intended end date, Sponsor may select winners from among eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the event warranting cancellation.
12. Releases; Limitations of Liability
By participating, you agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize providers, and advertising/promotion agencies, and each of their officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or relating to: (i) participation in the Promotion; (ii) acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; (iii) any technical or human error; (iv) any platform or third-party tool outage; or (v) any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. Prizes are awarded “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, the limitations shall apply to the maximum extent permitted.
13. Force Majeure / Uncontrollable Events
If an event beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g., act of God, war, terrorism, labor dispute, government order, epidemic, natural disaster, internet/hosting failure) materially affects the Promotion, Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify and select winners from eligible entries received, or substitute prizes of equal/greater value, at its discretion.
14. Disputes; Governing Law; No Class Action; Jury Waiver
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that all disputes arising out of or connected with a Promotion or any prize shall be resolved individually, without class action, under the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. JURY TRIAL WAIVER: To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants waive the right to a jury trial.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected is used to administer the Promotion and otherwise in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www-c3b06.bigscoots-temp.com/privacy-policy. If entries are collected via a third-party platform or tool, that party’s privacy policy may also apply.
16. Winners List; Copy of Rules
For winner(s) list or a copy of these Master Rules, visit https://www-c3b06.bigscoots-temp.com/rules or mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to Fangoria Publishing, LLC ATTN: Winners/Rules, 2566 Shallowford Road, Suite 104-180, Atlanta, GA 30345. Requests must be received within 6 months after the Promotion Period ends (as per the Schedule).
17. Sponsor; Platform Disclaimers

Platform Disclaimers: Promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, or any other platform. Entrants provide information to Sponsor, not to any platform.
18. Rule Precedence; Severability; No Waiver
The Schedule controls for its listed items; otherwise these Master Rules control. If any rule is found invalid, the remaining rules remain in effect. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

Specific details for each Promotion—including the name, start and end dates, entry methods, prize descriptions, approximate retail value (“ARV”), number of winners, and drawing dates are listed in the below. The Schedule forms part of these Official Rules. In the event of conflict, the Schedule controls for the listed items; these Master Official Rules control for all other terms.
