Sam Raimi’s Survival Horror SEND HELP Has Wrapped Filming

Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien star in what's described as a cross between MISERY and CASTAWAY.

Send Help, the upcoming desert island-set thriller from Sam Raimi, has officially wrapped filming, according to co-producer and president of Raimi Productions, Zainab Azizi.

Dylan O’Brien and Rachel McAdams star in the latest from the Evil Dead maestro, as well as Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians) and Dennis Haysbert (24).

Send Help‘s short synopsis reads simply:

…two colleagues become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.

The pic, written by Freddy vs. Jason scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, has also been described as a cross between Misery and Castaway.

Send Help is Raimi's first feature since 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and his first genre movie since 2009's Drag Me to Hell and is set for release on January 30, 2026 via 20th Century Studios.

Look out for more on Send Help as we get it!
