SAW X Exclusive Clip Takes Us Behind The Bloodboarding

Relive the magic from Kevin Greutert's exemplary SAW sequel.

If you were skeptical when Kevin Greutert's Saw X arrived earlier this year, it'd be understandable. The ninth sequel in a franchise? And it's technically a prequel to most of the other sequels? An honest-to-God Jigsaw side quest movie, wherein everyone's favorite designer of deadly traps heads down to Mexico for an experimental medical procedure? It all sounded a little strange, but hey, it's the Saw franchise. It's been strange before.

Then the movie arrived and, hey, whatta ya know? Saw X ruled. Sure, it ain't perfect, and yes, we might have had a few notes. But in terms of a back-to-basics, meat-and-potatoes Saw movie that delivered everything we typically want to see in a Saw movie, Greutert's Saw X was a knockout. There's still plenty of blood left in this franchise, after all!

Literally, in fact! Saw X does not skimp on the red stuff, as evidenced in this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip we're thrilled to be sharing with you today on the eve of the film's arrival on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Here we see Greutert's crew testing out one of the film's more diabolical traps: a teeter-totter-esque waterboarding system that … well, let's just say it doesn't use water.

Take a look:

Ah, memories.

Saw X is now available via digital and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. Stay tuned for more on the ever-expanding Saw franchise as further updates roll in.
