Following a summer festival run, including an international premiere at London's FrightFest, cult slasher Self-Help, from Erik and Carson Bloomquist (She Came From the Woods, Founders Day), hits theaters nationwide this Halloween via Mainfrme, and we've got an exclusive clip to celebrate.
Directed by Erik Bloomquist from a script he wrote with Carson Bloomquist, Self-Help stars Jake Weber (Medium), Landry Bender (Fuller House), Madison Lintz (Bosch), and Amy Hargreaves (13 Reasons Why), and follows a young woman as she “infiltrates a dangerous self-actualization community after her mother becomes entangled with its enigmatic leader.”
Following its theatrical run, Self-Help will hit VOD and streaming in North America in early 2026 following a recent acquisition by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting. Selected theaters are also hosting special ‘Mischief Night' previews tonight, October 30.
