It’s hard to believe it, but Shudder’s been around for ten years, offering us the best in horror from the comfort of our own homes. From classics like The Evil Dead to their own unique offerings like Oddity and Skinamarink, the streamer is your one-stop shop for horror, and now, they’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate a decade in style. They’ve just announced a year’s worth of Shudder 10 programming, bringing even more programming and special events right to our doorsteps.

The yearlong celebration kicks off with their annual Halfway to Halloween celebration, and continues throughout 2025 with deadly new titles being added to the streamer every month, including The Ugly Stepsister in May, Ash in June, Clown in a Cornfield this summer, and several new fall releases, including V/H/S/8, Hell House LLC: Lineage, and new seasons of The Creep Tapes, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, and The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs

Additionally, Shudder members will have access to new, specially curated film collections in celebration of the anniversary, including:

“The Movies That Made Shudder” featuring the streamer’s signature films from the first 10 years such as Late Night with the Devil, Terrified, When Evil Lurks, In A Violent Nature, Speak No Evil, Host, Watcher, Skinamarink, the V/H/S franchise and more

“Bloody Birthdays” celebrating other milestone anniversaries of iconic horror films including Phantom of the Opera (1925 – 100 years), Repulsion (1965 – 60 years), Fright Night(1985 – 40 years), Land of the Dead (2005 – 20 years), Crimson Peak (2015 – 10 years) and more.

“Since day one, Shudder has hoped to showcase the breadth and depth of horror, crafting and releasing provocative, frightening work with renowned masters and pioneering new voices,” says Sam Zimmerman, Head of Programming for Shudder. “It’s humbling to establish a mark on the genre we love so much, at a time when horror is perhaps more widely embraced than ever before. We’re incredibly thankful to the passionate fanbase that’s joined us these last ten years and to the immeasurably talented filmmakers and producers who have trusted Shudder to share their thrilling stories with our audience. This year, we celebrate where Shudder’s been and give our members a taste of the horrors to come.”

But that’s not all for the premiere horror streamer. They’re also taking Shudder 10 out on the road with numerous fan events and activations. They’ll be hosting the opening night party at this year’s Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans, featuring a special parade, as well as running a nationwide screening tour, featuring Shudder films that will make their big screen debuts, including Amusement Park, The Dark And The Wicked, Deadstream, Host, La Llorona, Mad God, Mandy, The Medium, Oddity, One Cut Of The Dead, Revenge, Skinamarink, Terrified, Tigers Are Not Afraid and Watcher. Full tour dates will be announced later in the year.

The summer also holds even more terrifying fun, as the streamer hosts an anniversary tattoo party on Friday, June 13 at Wild Heart Tattoo Parlor in Brooklyn, featuring special flash options from the in-house artists. There will also be exclusive, limited edition merchandise, including pillows, pins, temporary tattoos, and screen-printed posters from Mutant available on the Shudder Shop.

“Shudder perfectly represents our targeted streaming approach, offering a deep and highly-curated selection of films and series programmed by horror superfans for all horror fans,” says Courtney Thomasma, EVP of Linear and Streaming Products at AMC Networks. “As horror continues to grow in popularity, Shudder is leading the charge – for the most passionate fans as well as those just starting to explore the depth and variety of the category – with a lineup that continually showcases how clever and multifaceted and fantastically fun the genre can be.”
