Steven Spielberg's mysterious UFO movie finally has a title and trailer, with Disclosure Day hitting theaters on June 12, 2026 via Universal Pictures.
Disclosure Day, which is based on a story by Spielberg with a screenplay from Jurassic Park‘s David Koepp, boasts an absolutely stellar cast including Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colman Domingo, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Wyatt Russell, to name but a few.
An intriguing official logline doesn't give too much away, but reads:
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.
Disclosure Day marks Spielberg's 37th film in a filmography that has cumulatively racked up over $10 billion worldwide, with the Hollywood titan dabbling many times in the science-fiction genre before, most notably with 1977's Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 1982's E.T., 2001's A.I. Artificial Intelligence and 2005's War of the Worlds to name but a few.
Check out the new trailer and posters for Disclosure Day below, and for more, here's all the monster movies we're looking forward to in 2026.
