The team behind Terrifier 2 and current box office smash hit Terrifier 3 are back with Stream, a grisly and gory gaming horror now on digital, and we've got an exclusive look at David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown himself!) in a brutal new role.
Directed by filmmaker Michael Leavy (who worked as co-producer on Terrifier 2 and 3), Stream is described as a “brutal and deadly” slasher and stars Sam Gonzalaz and Liana Pirraglia. The movie's graphic gore FX were handled by Terrifier director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone.
In Stream:
The Keenan family's simple weekend getaway truly turns into a vacation to die for, as four deranged killers playing a sadistic game lock down their hotel and compete for the most creative murders of all the guests.
Aside from Thornton, Stream stars a whole host of horror icons including Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, Dee Wallace, Tony Todd, Daniel Roebuck, Felissa Rose, Bill Moseley, Mark Holton, Damian Maffei, Tim Reid, Dave Sheridan, Bob Adrian, Terry Kiser and Terry Alexander. Stream also marks the legendary Tim Curry's return in over 14 years back to feature films.
In a new statement, Leavy expressed his excitement for Stream hitting VOD:
After a successful limited theatrical run this summer and of course following the current release of our now number one Box Office hit in Terrifier 3, STREAM is making its way to all audiences with a much wider digital release on VOD streaming platforms! The reviews have been incredibly humbling and we are so excited to give our loyal fans the ultimate experience!
After seeing Terrifier 3 in theaters they now have the chance to continue to fill that gore void of waiting for Terrifier 4, right away and get more from our team and Damien Leone in having the chance to see STREAM from the comfort of their own home, before going back to see Terrifier 3 again in theaters of course.
In our exclusive new pic (seen above), Thornton and Pirraglia can be seen playing a rather nasty game of tic-tac-toe on poor Sebastian (Gonzalaz).
Stream is now playing on Fandango at Home (Vudu), Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video and iTunes.
