The Texas Chain Saw Massacre‘s 50th anniversary celebrations continue with the grand opening of Terror Vision's Terror Vision Museum, and a highly anticipated exhibit in collaboration with The Texas Chain Saw Museum.
Located in Savannah, Georgia and launching on October 10, the Terror Vision Museum, spearheaded by Ryan Graveface, will allow horror fans to explore the many ways fear and horror have shaped culture, society, and entertainment. Visitors will “explore horror-centric nostalgia, folklore, and cinematic history through this private collection of eclectic artifacts with interactive displays and unique photo ops throughout.”
Per the official press release regarding The Texas Chain Saw Massacre exhibit:
The most highly anticipated exhibit is a collaborative effort between Ryan Graveface and The Texas Chain Saw Museum, home to the world’s largest private collection of memorabilia from the iconic 1974 film, meticulously curated by world-renowned collector, Chase Andersen.
Within the Terror Vision Museum sits a life-size replica of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre house interior and a myriad of other thrilling surprises. The museum and exhibit include original memorabilia available for purchase, official The Texas Chain Saw Massacre merchandise, and exclusive limited edition Terror Vision x TCM offerings.
The Terror Vision Museum is a hugely exciting expansion for the independent physical media label, who have been killing it since 2014. As well as new and classic genre films on VHS and special edition Blu-ray sets, Terror Vision also releases obscure movie soundtracks on vinyl and cassette (such as Rumpelstiltskin, Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II and Ghosthouse).
Needless to say, the Terror Vision Museum x The Texas Chain Saw Massacre exhibition should be a must-see stop if you're in the area.
Other ways TCM fans can celebrate 50 years of Tobe Hooper's grisly classics with a 4K restoration screening in theaters across the nation, Dark Sky Films' The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 50th Anniversary Chainsaw Edition physical media set and Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game permanently discounted to just $19.99.
