Let Annabelle Hold Your Snacks With THE CONJURING: LAST RITES Official Popcorn Bucket

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return for the ninth entry in the billion dollar grossing franchise.

Ahead of The Conjuring: Last Rites hitting theaters on September 5, Regal has unveiled the official tie-in popcorn bucket that puts series mascot Annabelle front and center for her big return to the franchise.

Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II) directs the last in the mainline series, and the ninth in James Wan and Peter Safran's The Conjuring universe overall, from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing.

Stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return for the last time as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, this time investigating the infamous Smurl family haunting, which was said to have taken place from 1974 to 1989 in West Pittston, PA. Rebecca Calder (Wrath of Man) and Elliot Cowan (Foundation) will star as Janet and Jack Smurl, with the rest of the family portrayed by Kíla Lord Cassidy (Heather), Beau Gadsdon (Dawn), Tilly Walker (Carin), Molly Cartwright (Shannon), Peter Wight (Grandpa Smurl), and Kate Fahy (Grandma Smurl).

Also returning is haunted doll Annabelle, who got her big break in the first The Conjuring movie and went on to star in three spinoff feature films of her own. An official trailer reveals she will be returning for Last Rites, and she will be doing so while keeping your popcorn safe from this Wednesday, when Regal will have her in stock. Thanks Annabelle!
