Premiere horror streaming service Shudder celebrates ten years of scares this year, and to wrap up their year-long celebrations, they’ve partnered with Mutant for a special series of posters celebrating some of their biggest titles. The posters will roll out in pairs on Mutant’s website beginning this week, and FANGORIA is excited to exclusively premiere the poster for this year’s Chainsaw Award winner, The Ugly Stepsister.
The poster, featuring pastel artwork by Tula Lotay, comes as a 24-inch by 36-inch screenprint, retailing for $65 USD in an edition of only ninety. It’s a must-have for horror lovers who adore the genre, but aren’t so much into displaying blood and gore all over their walls, with a soft illustration featuring Lea Myren’s Elvira and her daydream about marrying a prince.
The Ugly Stepsister took home one of the biggest honors at this year’s Chainsaw Awards, winning Best First Feature for director Emilie Blichfeldt. The film was also nominated for Best Wide Release, Best International Movie, Best Lead Performance for Lea Myren, and Best Costume Design. Available to stream now on Shudder, the film also stars Ane Dahl Torp, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, and Flo Fagerli.
Other posters in the Shudder and Mutant collab include art for Clown in a Cornfield, Deadstream, Ash, Terrified, Revenge, The Devil’s Bath, Oddity, V/H/S/BEYOND, and One Cut of the Dead. Featuring artwork by Matt Ryan Tobin, Sara Deck, Nagy Laszlo, Candice Tripp, and more, two will hit Mutant’s online store every week beginning on October 29, with One Cut of the Dead and The Ugly Stepsister rounding things out on November 25.
