Shudder has unveiled the title for the next entry in the V/H/S series, with V/H/S/HALLOWEEN set to hit the horror streamer on the appropriately spooky date of October 3.
Per Variety, who unveiled the news exclusively earlier today, the new batch of directors tackling horror shorts this time around are Bryan M. Ferguson (Pumpkin Guts) Casper Kelly (Too Many Cooks, Adult Swim Yule Log), Micheline Pitt-Norman & R.H. Norman (Cosmetic), Alex Ross Perry (Her Smell, Queen of Earth), Paco Plaza (REC, Verónica) and Anna Zlokovic (Appendage).
V/H/S/HALLOWEEN will be the latest in the series following last year's sci-fi horror-themedV/H/S/BEYOND, which featured segments from Kate Siegel, Justin Long and more. Past contributors to the eight-film franchise have included Ti West, David Bruckner, Scott Derrickson, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Chloe Okuno, Timo Tjahjanto, Natasha Kermani, Adam Wingard and many, many more.
No news yet on what each chapter of V/H/S/HALLOWEEN will bring, but going by the title, we're almost certainly in for some spooky season-themed creeps. Stay tuned for updates.
