WEDNESDAY Season 2 Part 2 Trailer Teases The Return Of A Fan-Favorite Character

The second half of the Tim Burton-produced series hits Netflix on September 3.

The first half of the second season of Wednesday is currently making waves on Netflix with 50 million views worldwide, with the streamer today dropping a new teaser for the second half, set to premiere on September 3, that teases the return of a character previously-thought deceased…

The Jenna Ortega-starring, Tim Burton-produced Wednesday, which was recently renewed for a third season, sees the titular teen return to the Nevermore Academy for another round of supernatural mystery solving. Alongside Ortega, series regulars include Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Emma Myers (Enid), Joy Sunday (Bianca), Doohan (Tyler), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams) and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Ritchie Santiago).

Today's new trailer teases the return of Season 1 star Gwendoline Christie, who is back as previous Nevermore Principal Larissa Weems, who met a grisly fate at the end of the first season. Per the new look, it seems only Wednesday can see Weems, suggesting she is returning in a spirit guide capacity to help the moody Addams child through trials and tribulations.

However, while today's new trailer might reveal Weems' return, we still don't get a look at Lady Gaga, who is playing an as-of-now unannounced role in the second half of the season.
