YELLOWJACKETS Season 3 Trailer Teases Grisly Ghosts From The Past

Oscar winner Hilary Swank joins the Emmy-nominated horror drama this February 14 on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

Hit horror drama Yellowjackets is buzzing back onto Paramount+ with SHOWTIME on February 14, 2025, with a brand new trailer dropped over the weekend giving a good look at guest star, Oscar winner Hilary Swank.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets follows a team of high school girls soccer players and their attempts to survive in the wilderness after a devastating plane crash, and the residual trauma left over almost 25 years later. The show has proved a huge hit for Showtime, scoring a bunch of Emmy nominations and becoming the second-most streamed series in Showtime's history behind Dexter: New Blood.

Entering the creepy world ofYellowjackets alongside Swank this season is Community‘s Joel McHale, joining stars Melanie Lynskey, Ella Purnell, Christina Ricci, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Elijah Wood, Simone Kessell, Warren Kole, Lauren Ambrose Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Kevin Alves and Sarah Desjardins.

As teased in a previous interview with Lyle and Nickerson, Season 3 of Yellowjackets promises to go hard on the cannibalism that was touched upon in the second season:

“Definitely buckle up this season,” Lyle says. “The cannibalism cat is out of the bag.”

Go through the new teaser frame by frame and you'll certainly see what looks to be the girls chowing down on something suspiciously fleshy…

Also teased in the trailer is what looks to be more mysterious, nighttime rituals – whatever's going down, it's sure to be sinister.

Yellowjackets Season 3 will debut with two episodes on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, before an on-air debut for everyone else on February 16. Check out the new trailer below:
