Simon Rex (Red Rocket, Blink Twice) and Natalie Lind (Gotham, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines) are set to star in campy horror comedy Halloween Store from director Shane Dax Taylor, Variety reports today.
Kenan & Kel star and SNL mainstay Kenan Thompson and John Ryan Jr. will executive produce through their Artists for Artists banner, with Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Split) also executive producing.
Per Variety, Halloween Store follows a group of people who find themselves trapped inside a costume store on Halloween night with a mysterious killer on the loose.
No stranger to the world of horror comedy, Rex had some of his first feature leading roles in the Scary Movie series, most notably starring as part of the main cast alongside Anna Faris, Regina Hall and Charlie Sheen in 2003's Scary Movie 3.
Variety also confirm that Taylor, John Lind and Bradley Sloan also executive produce on Halloween Store. Lind, Kenneth Burke and Andrey Romanyuk are producers, and AFA, Big Bad Pig Productions and Racer Entertainment are the production companies.
Look out for more on Halloween Store as we get it!
