Meredith Borders has worked in the entertainment publishing industry for fifteen years, first as the Editorial Director of the Alamo Drafthouse, Fantastic Fest and BIRTH.MOVIES.DEATH., and as the author of FIRST IN FRIGHT: THE FANGORIA COMPENDIUM and editor of several books including CREEPSHOW: FROM SCRIPT TO SCREAM and HORROR MOVIE A DAY. She has been the Senior Editor of FANGORIA magazine since the brand’s relaunch in 2018, and now leads Fango’s Single Issue Publications division. Her essays have appeared in film study books and home video releases such as SCIENCE FICTION THEATRE, MY FAVORITE HORROR MOVIE and Second Sight’s GINGER SNAPS trilogy, and she has contributed as a programmer, jury member, guest host and panelist at genre film festivals across the world.
