Rebekah Mckendry

Rebekah McKendry is an acclaimed horror director, writer, professor, and podcaster. She began her career at Fangoria in 2005 as a research assistant and went on to write for Blumhouse, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, AMC Networks, Universal Studios, Dark Horse, Paramount, and more. Her most recent films are Glorious (2022) and Sundown (scheduled for release in 2027). Her recent publications include Pretty Evil from McElderry Books, 1313 Shadowbrook Lane from Penguin Random House, and Barstow from Dark Horse Comics. She is the co-host of Fangoria’s podcast, Colors of the Dark. Rebekah also is a professor at the University of South California, teaching horror cinema and directing.
