Sean Abley 's "Gay of the Dead" column (est. 2009 for FANGORIA.com) was the first blog to focus solely on LGBTQ filmmakers working in horror. He is the creator/co-editor of Queer Horror: A Film Guide, a 500-page encyclopedia of genre films with LGBTQ content, as well as the companion podcast. He is a frequent panelist and podcast guest for all things horror-related. He’s written three entries in the Witchcraft film franchise; the 9th entry in the Camp Blood franchise; his own film, the gay sci-fi thriller, Socket; plus multiple episodes of So Weird (Disney Channel), Sabrina: The Animated Series, Digimon, and MegaBabies. His booklet essays can be found on the 4K UHD box set releases of Salem’s Lot (Arrow Video), Re-Animator (Second Sight), and the upcoming Misery and Monster Squad boxes (Arrow Video). Most recently, he created the zine Physical Media Booklet Essay and the companion podcast.
